OUR STORY

Let’s face it, managing our skin is not walk in the park! It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to maintain youthful healthy glow. Along with eating a proper diet, beautiful skin requires a rock solid routine. If your skin routine is anything like mine, you cannot skip a day without applying a facial wash. One night of falling asleep without washing my face will leave me with a breakout in the morning.

I suffered with skin issues for most of my life. My face was plagued with acne as a teen, and nothing really had a long term effect. I have tried not touching my face, and have invested in every over the counter brand of acne wash. It was something I learned to live with over the years. In my late twenties, I developed eczema all over different parts of my body. The itching was agonizing, and it got worse in my thirties. The winter’s are harsh creating extremely dry skin over my legs. My spring and summer’s consist of a over production of oil all on my face. It’s been tough for me over the years, and I eventually gave up the fight. My doctor prescribed a few different medications that treated my skin problems, but they did not prevent them from reoccurring.

Fast forward ten years later, and I developed a passion for natural living. I began to learn about the natural benefits of plant therapy through essential oils. These benefits range from anti-bacterial, anti- anxiety, and anti-depression plant oils. One day I decided to give it a shot to create an anti-bacterial soap for my family. I did a lot of research, and discovered that MOST soaps are filled with synthetic, toxic chemicals. I learned that many soaps are not natural or real soap at all. Many will leave toxins on your body after every use. These chemicals can be absorbed into your body, which can create even bigger health problems.

My anti-bacterial soap worked wonders on my skin. It reduced sweat and odors for most of my day. Oddly, after using my natural soap for about 2 weeks, my acne was completely gone. It was amazing! I did not make the soap for that reason, but it was a nice surprise. I discovered that my skin was reacting to the chemicals in soap.
